Abstract

In this seminar, I introduce multimodal analysis, involving the study of the meaning arising from the interaction of language, image, sound and other resources in texts, interactions and events. From here, I discuss how theoretical frameworks for multimodal analysis may be integrated with computational approaches for data analytics.
