• WebODE: WebODE is an advanced ontological engineering workbench that provides varied ontology related services, and gives support to most of the activities involved in the ontology development process, such as: ontology editing, collaborative creation of ontologies, ontology import from WebODE XML, X-Carin and export to WebODE XML, RDF and RDFS, X-Carin, OIL, and Prolog.

• Protégé-2000: Protégé-2000 is an ontology editor and a knowledge-base editor.Protégé-2000 is also an open-source, Java tool which provides an extensible architecture for the creation of customized knowledge-based tools. It allows the import and export from/to RDF and RDFS.

• Ontology bean generator: The beangenerator permits the creation of java files representing ontologies that can be used in the JADE environment. The beangenerator is implemented as a plug-in for Protégé-2000
  Protégé-2000 and the beangenerator can generate FIPA/JADE compliant ontologies from XML, RDF(S) and and Protégé projects.

• The Ontoweb Ontology Roadmap provides an overview of current research developments in the ontology area. In particular, it contains information concerning existing ontologies, methodologies, tools and languages for building ontologies, and ontology-based applications.
