My pesky younger brother Christopher got married to genius Dutch beauty Margriet on the island of Terschelling, off the north coast of the Netherlands, in December 2002. Here they are looking pretty happy...

It was pretty cold; the sea was frozen, and so only the steel-hulled ferries were running.

Me (left) with newlywed brother Christopher, on the sea ice. Needless to say, moments after this photgraph was taken, I slipped on the ice and landed, very ungraciously, on my backside. Still, a nearby group of small children found it very funny indeed, so that made it all worthwhile...
