My name is Matias Fernando, you can call me by either of those names or just Matt. I am a first year PhD student in the Computer Science Department of the University of Liverpool. I am part of the Agent Applications, Research and Technology (Agent ART) Group. My supervisors are Dr. Frans Coenen from the Computer Science Department, and Dr. Alan Radford and Dr. P-J. Noble from the Small Animal Teaching Hospital.
I studied in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and graduated as a Computer Engineer. During my undergraduated studies I worked as a free lance in many projects as a programmer. After graduating I worked in a private school teaching a basic course of the Java programming language, in a consulting company as a Java programmer for 1 year and in a data mining consulting company as a programmer/analyst for 6 months.
My main personal interests are: traveling whenever is possible, reading, playing guitar, listening music.
