The two practical assignments will together contribute a total of 50% of your final grade for the module. The remaining 50% will come from your mark in the written exam.
The exam will consist of five questions, of which you should answer four.

Should you fail the module, the resit exam covers both the continuously assessed assignments and the written examination. This means that your grade for the resit exam will be the final grade for the module: any marks for the assignments will not be carried over. The resit exam was never a multiple-choice exam; as of 2008-09, the format of the resit exam is the same as that of the final exam. Examples of past resit exam papers:
