The Faculty of Science advanced MSc and MRes include four Computer Science pathways: Algorithmics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and Safety Critical systems. Details are available at http://www.liv.ac.uk/science/mscadvscience.html

The on-line programmes are part time, and are run in partnership with Laureate Online Education. More information can be found at http://www.uol.ohecampus.com/index.php?mod=dcp&act=navigationindex&navigationid=2104

The MSc programmes in Computer Science are 1-year full-time programmes taught at the University's Liverpool campus. The programme MSc Advanced Computer Science is intended for graduates in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, while the programme MSc Computer Science is intended for graduates in non-CS subjects. The programme MSc Advanced Computer Science with Internet Economics (formely MSc Computation and Game Theory) is a more specialised programme, and is intended for graduates in Computer Science or Economics (or closely related subjects). In all cases, the minimum entry requirement is a 2.2 class Honours degree or its equivalent, and some evidence of mathematical or technical ability is desirable.

In addition, the University, in collaboration with Laureate Online Education, offers a range of MSc degree programmes that are taught 100% online.
