There is more to Computer Science than programming and creating web pages. This programme covers all aspects of Computer Science including the underlying principles and theory. On graduation, you will be well placed to know what is and isn't possible with computers and to find solutions to the problems you will encounter in your professional life.

This programme provides a four year route into a Computer Science BSc (Hons) degree. You will spend your first year at Carmel College in St Helens, about nine miles from the main University precinct. The college offers small classes and high standards of achievement.
Carmel College offers a number of different Degree Programmes.
At Carmel College, you will take foundation modules in Mathematics and a choice of modules from Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Geography. Students on this foundation programme will normally progress to G400. Transfer to other programmes within the department may also be possible.
