Entrance Requirements for Undergraduate Programmes
All students are expected to have GCSE Mathematics at grade C (for some programmes GCE AS level with grade B) or better and GCSE English Language at grade C or better. The typical offer for entrance to degree programmes in the Department of Computer Science is three subjects at GCE A level with grades AAB or better, but we give a one grade bonus for each mathematical subject (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Computing/Computer Science, and Physics) included in these three subjects. Overseas Qualifications
We accept a wide variety of International Qualifications. Applicants must have
suitable English Language Qualifications
(for example IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each band).
