Industrial Links in the Department of Computer Science
Through its internationally recognised research and high quality teaching, the Department of Computer Science has strong and growing links with industry at local, national and international levels. Teaching
Many aspects of the teaching within the Department are informed by industrial developments. Most degree programmes offer the opportunity to tackle work based learning projects with external companies or organisations. This has created demand for many different specializations, both in the development of software systems, and in the application of such systems to business requirements.
